Word Disassociation has been one of the most loved songs among the [[Illemonati]] since the release of [[Damn Skippy]]. However, thanks to [[Neil]]’s music video, [[Lemon Demon]] newbies are getting interested in it. The lyrics were used as titles for members of the Lemon Demon forum, according to number of posts. (Once the poster passed antidisestablishmentarianism, the titles switched to crayon colour names from [[Ode to Crayola]].) Neil states in the [[Damn Skippy: Commentary|commentary track]] that this was probably one of the only songs he made that you can dance to.

'''Mouth Craft''' (or '''Mouthcraft''') is the name given to a mashup set that [[Neil]] "performed" at Avenue Minecraft Concert's Wild Wild Fest, which was held in Minecraft on October 17th, 2020 in support of the charity "[https://www.directrelief.org/ Direct Relief]". The set was comprised of tracks that were created during the production of [[Mouth Dreams]], but had been scrapped for one reason or another. In the Avenue Discord server Neil stated that he wanted to finish a few more unreleased Mouth Dreams-era tracks and release them all together as an EP. However, as of August 2026 the tracks have yet to resurface in an official form. During a Youtube livestream on July 9th, 2023, Neil stated that he still intended to release the EP officially.

Neil disuaded the distribution of recordings of the setlist, saying that people should stick to sharing recordings with friends. However, Neil has made no comment on popular re-uploads on sites such as Youtube and Archive.org.

Immediately after the release of [[Clown Circus]] in April 2003, [[Neil]] began work on Live from the Haunted Candle Shop. Roughly a week or two after the prior's release, [[The Saga of You, Confused Destroyer of Planets]] was released as a single for the latter. Multiple other tracks were released as singles through various means to build up the forthcoming release.

The album was released through MP3.com in July 2003 and is no longer available, but its tracks can be found on the data track of [[Hip To The Javabean]] CDs.

In April 2009, [[Neil]] offered this album for download at Lemondemon.com, along with [[Clown Circus]], [[Hip to the Javabean]], and [[Damn Skippy]]. This is the newest Lemon Demon album to not currently have a remaster from [[Needlejuice Records]].

==Description==
The album features a heavily revamped sound quite different from the material released as [[Deporitaz]], with an emphasis on vocals and more guitar. [[Neil]]'s singing is still quite immature, as he was only 17 at the time of the album's release.

The instrumentals on this album also become substantially grander and higher quality, especially on tracks where the instrumental is the focus like [[Somnolence]] and [[Elsewhere]]. These two tracks especially show how much [[Neil]] grew between his [[Deporitaz]] era and this first [[Lemon Demon]] album in terms of assembling instrumentals.

This album was presumably created in quick succession to the [[Deporitaz]] album [[Dimes]]. [[Neil]] wanted a fresh start to his musical career, this time leaning much more heavily into his singing and lyrical capabilities, though this album does still have two mostly instrumental tracks ([[Error]] and [[Elsewhere]]).

===Release===
The album was originally released on CD and for download via Mp3.com on April 5th, 2003. It became out of print when Mp3.com shut down in December 2003.

The album was later included in its entirety on the data track of all [[Hip to the Javabean]] CDs. In April 2009, [[Neil]] offered this album for free download on [http://lemondemon.com/ Lemondemon.com], alongside [[Live from the Haunted Candle Shop]], [[Hip to the Javabean]], and [[Damn Skippy]]. It is one of [[Live from the Haunted Candle Shop| two]] [[Lemon Demon]] albums to not have been remastered by [[Needlejuice Records]].

===Post-Release===
[[Hyakugojyuuichi 2003]] became the most popular song that [[Neil]] had ever released shortly after this album's release. It infiltrated multiple different areas of the internet at the time, such as [[Newgrounds]]. This caused more people to recognize [[Neil]] outside of the [[Animutation]]-sphere that he was in at the time. Between the release of this and [[Live from the Haunted Candle Shop]], [[Neil]] created a [[LiveJournal]] account to document his progress on the album and other diaretical details about his life to entertain his meager fan-base.

==History==
For many years prior to 2010, no one, not even [[Neil]] himself, had any surviving copies or remembered what songs were on it. ([[Alora Lanzillotta]] may still have a copy but does not know where it is.) The album art and track listing were lost on Neil’s old hard drives, which he had searched but to no avail. Neil had previously posted a list of all of the possible tracks. Since the original posting, Neil put up a directory of Deporitaz downloads. The Microwave This CD folder, although organized alphabetically, was still significantly cleaner than the original list and was considered the official track listing for a long time. The cover art was usually represented by [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron%27s_Party_(Come_Get_It) this Aaron Carter cover] as an in-joke.

On April 12th, 2010, original WikiLemon user Jake (who had previously posted about owning the album) discovered the album in his closet and posted the proper track listing and album art. The real cover includes a single color (dark blue) illustration of a flower with a confused face. Above the flower, centered, is written “Trapezoid” in green followed by “Microwave This CD” in blue, in an awkwardly stretched version of the font Copperplate. The actual album art has never been scanned, however a fan mockup was made and has been used to represent the album ever since.

For many years prior to 2010, no one, not even [[Neil]] himself, had any surviving copies or remembered what songs were on it. ([[Alora Lanzillotta]] may still have a copy but does not know where it is.) The album art and track listing were lost on Neil’s old hard drives, which he had searched but to no avail. Neil had previously posted a list of all of the possible tracks. Since the original posting, Neil put up a directory of Deporitaz downloads. The Microwave This CD folder, although organized alphabetically, was still significantly cleaner than the original list and was considered the official track listing for a long time. The cover art was usually represented by [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron%27s_Party_(Come_Get_It) this Aaron Carter cover] as an in-joke.

On April 12th, 2010, original WikiLemon user Jake (who had previously posted about owning the album) discovered the album in his closet and posted the proper track listing and album art. The real cover includes a single color (dark blue) illustration of a flower with a confused face. Above the flower, centered, is written “Trapezoid” in green followed by “Microwave This CD” in blue, in an awkwardly stretched version of the font Copperplate. The actual album art has never been scanned, however a fan mockup was made and has been used to represent the album ever since.
