Lemizdat is the grassroots dissemination of Lemon Demon paraphernalia, typically in the form of posters or graffiti featuring Lemon Demon’s web address. The word was coined by LÆB, taken from the Russian term samizdat (самиздат, literally, “self published,” used to refer to hand-written copies of books and other documents banned by the Soviet government).

The committing of lemizdat is usually considered to be an important part of being an Illemonatus. Although the emphasis can be quite vague, it is included in the Lemon Demon code.
