Pumpkin Pie is the third track on Damn Skippy. It is about the rise and fall of a prolific pumpkin pie salesman.
The song was originally released on July 19th, 2004.[1] This early version is missing the accordion present in the album version.
Neil spoke about writing this song in the album's commentary track: "First thing I wrote before I came up with the idea of pumpkin pie was the first verse there. Then I had to think of something for him to be selling, and pumpkin pie fit and had enough things I could rhyme it with."
