Mouth Moods is the third installment in the mouth series, and relatively the most well-known of the four. Within the album, Smash Mouth samples return after being absent outside of easter eggs from the previous installment.

- Larry King appears faintly in Neil's glasses, samples of King appear through most of Mouth Moods.
- When inverted, the colors reflect those similarly (though probably unintentional) to the next installment of the Mouth series Mouth Dreams.
- This is the second longest Mouth mashup album, with the longest being Mouth Dreams.
- As of the download pages for the Mouth albums, Mouth Moods is the "Zequel" to Mouth Sounds, the "Threequel" to Mouth Silence, and the "DayQuil" to Mouth Dreams.
