The Ocean is the 15th track and the 8th non-transition track on View-Monster.

Description

The track is seemingly inspired by the 1989 Disney film The Little Mermaid, sung from the perspective of the character Prince Eric about his "mermaid girlfriend" Ariel and his intense love for the sea. Another song, As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It, also is heavily tied with The Little Mermaid, instead being sung from King Triton's point of view. Both of these songs have live backing videos featuring clips from the movie.
