David Kelly, known on the internet as Shmorky was an internet webcomic artist, known for The Flash Tub on the Something Awful forums, which Neil frequented. Neil had supposedly became friends with Dave on the forums, and Dave would later sing on Wizard Hat Pie. Even later, Dave sang on Hyakugojyuuichi 2003, among others. Neil continued to be friends with Dave after Clown Circus, the most recent time Neil mentioned Dave being in a 2007 LiveJournal post.
In late 2016, a thread on KiwiFarms was formed about Dave, exposing him as a pedophile. Many of the minors Dave had chatted with, and Dave's old fiance, contributed to the thread. Shortly after, Dave posted a suicide note onto his Patreon, and all of his social media profiles have been radio silent ever since, though some are skeptical.
